This Birth Story is one that is very close to my heart. Not only are these sweet people some of my dearest friends, but man oh man do they make beautiful babies! I was so honored and blessed to be present at the birth of their first daughter. After having contractions for over a week, Carrie was induced on a beautiful July day! Even though induction takes a while... this was the fastest birth I had ever heard of. It seemed like one push and BAM! The world was suddenly sweeter! While trying to keep my own tears at bay, I was able to witness some beautiful moments. I will forever cherish this day and the amazing experience it was! Please join me in welcoming the beautiful baby Oaklie!
